Robben Ford is one of the most diverse and accomplished electric guitarists today. Named one of Musician magazine’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of the 20th Century,” his consistently awe-inspiring career is defined by an ongoing tradition of musical exploration. The four-time Grammy nominee backed Charlie Musselwhite and Jimmy Witherspoon at a young age. He went on to play with Joni Mitchell, George Harrison, Miles Davis, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, Michael McDonald and many other top artists. Duke Robillard is a guitarist, bandleader, songwriter, singer, producer and session musician whose musical journey has involved the likes of Bob Dylan, Dr. John, the Fabulous Thunderbirds and more. Robillard won the W.C. Handy award for "Best Blues Guitarist" two years in a row. B.B. King has described him as "one of the great players." The Houston Post called him "one of God’s guitarists." Trey Alexander is a 23 year old prodigy who has racked up a lifetime’s worth of awards and accolades despite having only played guitar for 8 years. Alexander won his first guitar competition at age 15, just a few months after picking up the instrument. He recorded his first album shortly thereafter, formed the popular fusion-based progressive band, Sonic Lux, and then beat out thousands of other guitarists to take the title in Guitar Player’s Guitar Hero competition in 2006. Gerry Beaudoin is a jazz guitarist who has recorded with John & Bucky Pizzarelli, Frank Vignola and Andy Summers. Known as a guitarists' guitarist, he is in high demand for session work and clinics. His performances and recordings have led to numerous awards, including the National Association of Independent Record Distributors award for Best Jazz Recording in 1992 and a Cadence magazine Editors’ Choice Award in 1993. Just Jazz Guitar magazine describes him as, "One of New England's premier jazz guitarists.” Beaudoin is a member of the highly-acclaimed jazz guitar trio, New Guitar Summit. Gerry is the consummate guitarist.
Bruce Arnold runs the guitar programs at Princeton University and New York University, hosts the Summer Jazz Workshops in New York City, and has taught at the New England Conservatory of Music, Dartmouth College and the Berklee School of Music. One of the most respected and prolific educators in the business, Arnold is an active clinician with an uncanny ability to analyze music in terms of mathematics, yet play with incredible soul. New York City producer, guitarist and songwriter Jeff McErlain has shared the stage or worked with Scott Henderson, George Clinton, Zakk Wylde, Will Lee, Omar Hakim and Hiram Bullock, among others. The author of Modern Rock Techniques (Alfred) and Blues Rock Evolution (TrueFire), McErlain has contributed to Guitar Player and Guitar World, taught at the Bath International Guitar Festival, and is on the faculty at the National Guitar Workshop. Ernie and the Automatics is a Boston-based band made up of former members of Boston and RTZ with Ernie Boch, Jr. at the helm. With Barry Goudreau and Sib Hashian of Boston on guitar and drums, and Tim Archibald and Brian Maes of RTZ on bass and keyboards, the band combines decades of experience to create an exciting mix of blues and rock featuring two distinct guitar sounds from Boch Jr. and Goudreau. The group has released two CDs and two DVDs. With years of experience driving their music and a close association with Boch’s charity, Music Drives Us, Ernie and the Automatics is among Boston’s most popular bands.

Johnny A. is a widely celebrated contemporary guitarist known for fusing blues, rock, pop and jazz into his own signature style. His electric guitar instrumental release, Sometime Tuesday Morning CD is a phenomenal indie success, selling thousands of copies and earning him a nomination for Best Debut Album in the Boston Music Awards. J. Geils is a blues rock guitarist best known for his work with the J. Geils band. Jazz guitarist Mimi Fox has released two CDs as a leader on Steve Vai's Favored Nations label, performed with everyone from Charlie Hunter, Stanley Jordan and Kenny Burrell to Branford Marsalis and David Sanchez, and been named a Downbeat "Rising Star" for the past four years. Fox is Chair of the Guitar Department at the Jazz School in Berkeley and an adjunct professor at New York University. Peter Stroud is an accomplished session and touring guitarist. He has been part of Sheryl Crow’s band for eight years, in which time he has had the opportunity to play with legends like Eric Clapton and Keith Richards.
